Free work spots

Contribute to the FabLab community of knowledge and use a workstation for free!

If you are developing an innovative idea or want to experiment with a particular material, you can book a free workstation. In return, we ask you to contribute to our wiki. This includes your findings, techniques, tools and designs associated with the project. You can simply use text to document your process, but we encourage the use of screenshots, photographs and movies of your process (via Vimeo, YouTube or Flickr). By sharing knowledge about the machines and the process, you are directly helping FabLab users (worldwide) to get better results more efficiently.

Guidelines for a free workplace:

* Share your findings in a clear, chronological text, preferably with images such as photos and screenshots.
* Take your time to format your content in the wiki, as there are many options. For example, a TOC (table of contents) and adding pictures and video is very useful. The FabLab engineer can assist you.
* Due to the nature of the international FabLab community, we prefer your documentation to be in English.
* Ask a FabLab engineer if you have any questions regarding the use of the machines — preventing a problem is often better than fixing one.
* If there are no other events scheduled, free workplaces are offered one day in advance.
