The hi-tech work spots at the CabFabLab can be booked and used for a variety of projects. The work spots can be booked per hour, per half day (9:00 h until 13:00 h & 13:00 h to 17:00 h) or per full day. The following is an overview of the possibilities and charges for use of the CabFabLab.

* Hour: € 25, –
* Half day: € 90, –
* Day: € 175, –
Discount rates
To encourage use of our lab by a wide audience, we offer reduced pricing for different constituencies. These discount rates apply to all workplaces and (consumer) materials.
* Caballero Factory Tenants: 10%
* Starters: 10% (for companies younger than 2 years, on presentation of KvK documents)
* Students: 20% (on presentation of student card / student OV)
* Young people under 18 years, 65 and over: 20% (on presentation of identity or Ooievaarspas)
Hi-tech work spots
The hi-tech workstations consist of a Windows workstation and a computer controlled machine. These workstations can be used for the production of small series, prototyping or creating designs and models.
The traditional workshop is where common operations can be performed. Examples include drilling, sanding, sawing, filing, spraying, casting, gluing and polishing. The previously mentioned charges apply to use of this workshop, but each case will be reviewed by a FabLab engineer.
Free work spots
The CabFabLab offers free work spots to people who are developing an innovative idea or want to experiment with a particular material. In return, we ask you to contribute your project details to our wiki. This includes your findings, techniques, tools and designs associated with the project. By sharing knowledge about the machines and the manufacturing process, you are helping the FabLab community grow in addition to making it easier and quicker for FabLab users to work out an idea. We also have several workshops (eg with high school students) and are regularly looking for enthusiastic assistants and supervisors. For every hour that you assist, you earn one hour free at a work spot.
